Clarissa and Johnathan are 21 years old, they both came from the province of Cordoba in pursuit of the same goal: to make their lives, to live their Tango , to take it and convey what makes vibrate their heart everywhere they go, expressing through traditional tango what lies deep in their soul. This pursuit led them to show their art both in shows and competitions, also, to take and teach classes in order to evolve professionally and infect others with their enthusiasm to experience what makes tango so special and appreciated around the world.
Their first steps as a professional couple were given in their home province, Cordoba, where they had unconditional support from their beginnings to the successive stages which they would then encounter in their artistic future.
With great effort, absolute dedication, hard work and a lot of study, these young talented dancers managed to bring out the best in each other, uniting themselves in an embrace and creating a unique and sincere style.
Eventually, they took part in several local competitions, which they won, and decided to take their first trips to Buenos Aires, a city which would soon after become their final destination. This led to a constant search for progress and excellence that concluded with the recognition of becoming the 2015 Tango World Champions, a decision made by distinguished maestros with great experience in the history of tango.
Clarissa began her career as a ballet dancer's at the age of 9, in the city of Villa Carlos Paz where she studied until fifth year. In 2007, she entered the Jazz dance studio Eugenia Calamita where she continued her studies until 2012.
That same year, she participated in high class competitions and perfected her dance with several seminars and classes.
In 2009, she opened the door to Tango, and took her first lessons with her parents, Hugo and Adriana Aragon Diani, and later on, she continued her advanced training with various teachers in Buenos Aires.
She was a Jazz dance teacher since 2010. We can also mention among her studies other disciplines such as Folklore, Salsa and Contemporary dance. Since 2009, her objectives focus purely on Tango and how to grow as a professional dancer.
Johnathan began his Folklore studies at age 5 in Cordoba, in the Academy Gauderios. He took part in several dance groups such as Calaquendi, Blood Chúcaro which also allowed him to acquire knowledge of other disciplines such as Salsa.
He participated and, later on, directed several openings presentations and festivals within the province of Cordoba.
His first classes of Tango began in late 2010 with Valeria and Julio Saavedra as his teachers. At the age of 17, he was living in the capital city of Cordoba and he took first place in "Vanguardisimo" (First contest of free Tango). From that moment on, he dedicated himself to the continued improvement of his Tango until today.
